Marine biologist and lifelong angler with years of experience fishing the Portuguese coast. I focus on the details that matter — tide stage, wind, swell, water colour and structure — to turn good-looking water into the right place at the right time. My sessions are practical and calm: you'll learn rigs and knots, lure and egi selection, retrieves, reading water and safe fish handling. I don't fish during your session — I'm there to coach, so you get the full value of your time on the water.

Safety first — Sessions may be rescheduled if conditions are unsafe. When sea bass conditions aren't ideal, we switch to a productive alternative like cuttlefish eging or surfcasting.

How do I book?
Message me on WhatsApp with your dates, where you're staying and your experience level. I'll suggest the best session type and confirm the best window based on tide, wind and swell.
Do I need a deposit?
Yes. A deposit secures your date because I keep that time exclusively for you. The remainder is paid before or on the day by cash, MB Way or bank transfer.
Do I need my own fishing gear?
Bring your own if you like. If you don't have suitable tackle, I can provide quality gear subject to availability. Lost lures or breakages may be charged at cost.
Do I need a fishing licence?
Yes — you're responsible for having the required personal licence if applicable. Tell me your plan (shore/boat and dates) and I'll tell you exactly what you need to arrange.
What should I bring?
Weather-appropriate clothing, food and water, and good footwear. For night sessions: a head torch. Bring waders if you have them. Polarised sunglasses are strongly recommended for day sessions.
Where do sessions take place?
Mostly the Lisbon district. When conditions demand, we may fish nearby areas like Ericeira, Peniche or Sines. The exact meeting point is confirmed 24–48 hours before once the forecast is clear.
What if conditions are unsafe?
Safety comes first. If conditions aren't safe or productive, we reschedule to a better window or switch to a different style — lures, eging or surfcasting — where possible.
Do you fish during my session?
No. I'm there to coach you — positioning, retrieves, rigs, reading water and safe handling — so you get the full value of your time on the water.
